Vintage Omega FAP 2914 Flightmaster Railmaster. Peruvian Airforce Military Watch

Description: Authentic Omega FAP Peruvian airforce military watch. Comes with archive with delivery to Peru so all correct there. FAP engraving on the case back has been obscured by someone trying to polish it off at some point but you can still clearly see it was engraved FAP. The original dial was refinished, the refinished dial has been taken off and replaced with a Railmaster tritium (one T) early 1960s NOS never mounted dial which looks great but of course not a Flightmaster dial but still probably the nicest Railmaster dial in existence. I have just put a pair of original vintage B-road arrow hands on the watch because I love the look of them. The old original Flightmaster hand and the original repainted dial will also be sent to the new owner in the package as pictured. If you have a Flightmaster dial you would like to trade for this Railmaster dial that would be a great outcome for me, so please get in touch if you do, before someone buys it! The second hand was incorrect when I bought this watch from Peru so a correct old hand has been fitted. The plexi glass is correct and a NOS vintage one which was very expensive. The movement was cleaned, oiled and greased a few months ago so it is running well. The inner antimagnetic cover is present, the cover spring is a modern version but looks the same as the original. The Mercedes crown is original to the watch. The case is in great condition with the exception of the FAP engraving as mentioned previously. The watch measures 38mm across not including the crown. These watches are super rare and rarely come up for sale. The watch will come on the vintage Phoenix textile strap as pictured, these are the straps used on military Submariner and are very expensive (that’s if you can find one) A great chance to own one of these rare watches.
