Vintage Old "Retired" Cowboy Lariat Lasso Rope Western Wall Decor, BT

Description: Your very own Authentic "Retired" Cowboy Western Lariat Lasso Roping Rope! The one you SEE in the pictures is the EXACT one you will receive. It's different on a few levels. For one.....it's a really unusual color. It's a RUSTY orange color. It started out as a BRIGHT almost neon orange (judging from where I removed a sticker) but with use and wear and tear it's become more of a RUSTY burnt orange. Also, it does not have the loop on one end. Instead it has been removed and taped up and then they fashioned some sort of "loop" on the tassle end (as pictured). The rope you see is the exact one you'll receive. Cowboys are very VERY superstitious. Once they latch onto a good roping rope and break it in they'll use it and use it and USE IT. BUT.....if their luck goes bad with it (either in competitions OR in use on the range) they get rid of it. We've dealt with old cowboy items for years. A friend of ours has a tack wholesale company and he allows these cowboys in N. Tx to "trade in" their old worn out ropes for a percentage off on a new one. We pick through the old ones picking the ones with the most character. There's just something cool about having a REAL one that has been well-worn and actually USED by a real cowboy through the years. The STORIES they could probably tell! They're great for wall hangs and decoration in rustic decor. Some people (like ME) actually incorporate them into designs.
