Description: The is a finely detailed and very cool Vintage Old Mid Century Modern Still Life Fruits Oil Painting on Artist Board, by seldomly seen Mid-Century Huntington Beach, California painter, Elizabeth Crisell Quinney (b. 1909.) I could find very little biographical information on this artist, aside for the fact that she exhibited at the 5th Annual McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Division Art Exhibition, which took place on June 12th, 1968. This artwork depicts an expressive still life scene, including a wine bottle, and a bowl of various citrus fruits including oranges and lemons. Signed: "E. Crisell Quinney" in graphite at the lower left edge. Approximately 22 1/8 x 26 1/4 (including frame.) Actual visible artwork is approximately 10 1/4 x 13 3/8 inches. Photo 24 is an artist's label from another known painting by Quinney, not this one, which I have included in this listing to provide additional artist information. Acquired in Los Angeles County, California. If you like what you see, I encourage you to make an Offer. Please check out my other listings for more wonderful and unique artworks!
