Shipped with USPS 1950’s retro advertising barware vintage “Old Kentucky Tavern” tall Decanter, from Glenmore Distilleries in Owensboro, KY !! In great condition for use or decor. This great retro glass decanter with fired on stripe motif stands about 15" tall with stopper in place. In form it's essentially an inverted cone with bottom diameter of about 4", narrowing to the top and having a flared rim with diameter of about 2.125". The stopper is torpedo shaped with cork and plastic seal. The decorative motif here consists of alternating green/teal and white vertical stripes which are wider at the base and taper toward the top. It's a very sleek and modern effect that lends an exaggerated perception of height to the piece. This bottle was used by Glenmore Distilleries of Owensboro, KY. The bottle is empty. A close look here shows this decanter to be in very good condition. The glass is of good clarity and the fired on stripe decor exhibits only slight wear. it's a great retro decanter that simply screams 1950s.
