This is an amazing piece of decorative, as well as functional, artwork made by Sandton Design. It has been created in the shape of two pyramids or look of a tiered temple. There is a large crystal ball positioned between an “upper chamber” and a “lower chamber” of the structure which are connected by four curved supporting wires. The crystal sphere presents a “mystical or magical” motif which is reinforced by the clear cut crystal-like embellishments which hang freely from each of the four corners of the upper chamber. The walls and trim pieces of the upper and lower chambers are in a weave and stone pattern. Overall, it is a beautiful and very unusual piece that would make a lovely addition to any collection or home decor. This piece is sure to impress and is a great conversation showpiece wherever it is placed!This piece measures 13½” High. The top of the upper chamber measures 5½” square. There is a circular recessed area on the top of the upper chamber, as shown in the photos, which could be used to hold a large candle. This circular area measures 4¼” in Diameter and is nearly ½” Deep. It appears that the previous owner had used this piece as a candle holder due to small amounts of wax remaining in the recessed area as shown in the photos. The lower chamber is a bit larger and measures approximately 6” Square.
