Made in the 1950's - This Mid Century Globe is in good vintage condition. It is made of tin except for the plastic bracket that measures degrees and holds the globe to the base. The plastic is in good condition without any cracks of damage. There are several dents in the tin, one small one at the north pole where the bracket attaches and the other in the southern hemisphere near New Zealand. I did take pictures so you could see the damage. Also there is a really nice vintage patina that is sort of a light pre-rust covering most of the tin. I could have tried to clean it but I think the patina gives it a really nice vintage vibe. This globe would make a great accent piece in a book case or on a table or shelf. Please look carefully at the pictures.
