Original and authentic WWII era Japanese Katana with traditional wrap over Ray skin tsuka handle. Finished with a decorative bronze kashira and leather strap ring. Decorative bronze and metal tsuba or guard. Missing a handle pin hold and small chips to Ray skin as shown. When the handle is slid off, it reveals character markings referring to kanefusa Fuliwara. Traditional push release from the saya or scabbard. Scabbard is leather wrapped with expected wear and loss. Has bronze applications on the guard end and top with a hold ring. Blade has some tarnished spots but presents sharp with little to no edge damages. Blade is 27.5 inches, and when placed in scabbard, it is 41 inches completed.
