Description: Vintage Miniature Farm Animals, Very Tiny, Mexico, Paper Mache, 1960sThese farm animals are tiny! The chickens are about .25"x.5", the lambs aren't much larger. The burros are less than an inch!They are extremely fragile. There used to be more but the years were hard on them and these are all that are left. All of them fit in a 2"x 3.5" jewelry box with felt padding. I can barely pick them up as I have large fingers and they are so tiny. They would be perfect for someone who makes tiny displays. There are three chickens, three lambs, one sheep, and two burros. My sister and I purchased them in the early 1960s in a shop that imported items from Mexico. I think they are made of paper mache.
