Description: A wonderful find! This dollhouse miniature 1:12 scale 100% silk petite point rug was made by IGMA Artisan Sharon Garmize. It measures 5.75 inches long (6.5 inches with the fringe) by 3.5 inches wide. This rug is signed by Susan, dated 1979, and numbered #1 of 3 rugs made. It had an old price tag of $900. I do not know the stitch count, but it is a very fine and lightweight piece. Although this particular rug was not marked 100% silk, I do believe that it is. I have photographed it next to another rug that I have of Sharon's that does have "100% Silk" written on it. Please see the last photo. Please examine the photo comparison prior to bidding. Note that only one rug - the ivory with blue and tan/gold is included in this listing. It is in excellent, never used or displayed condition. Don't miss out on this finely made rug.
