Description: Vintage Mid Century Modern Red Wing Futura Crazy Rythm Gravy Boat w/ Tray in very good used condition. The listing is for 1 Gravy Bowl & Tray. Red Wing Potteries was founded in 1877 in Red Wing, MN, as a manufacturer of utilitarian stoneware. Red Wing’s dinnerware production began in 1935 and continued until their closure in 1967. The Futura shape was described by the company as being “designed for practicality as well as interest and grace”. The pattern Crazy Rhythm offered a funky abstract design in muted colors added to a popular shape line. The gravy boat is 5 5/8" by 3 7/8" oval shaped by 4 1/8" tall. The tray is 7" by 4 3/4" oval shaped, by 1" tall. The tray is marked Red Wing Handpainted USA. The tray has several little dings/chips on the bottom of it. Otherwise in very good condition.
