Vintage Mid Century 1950s or 1960s Folk Art Shell Flowers Framed under Glass

Description: Seller: Alley-Antiques DESCRIPTION: Vintage Folk Art. Displays beautifully. Cool Folk Art Shell picture. Probably dates to the Mid Century to the 1950s or 1960s. Different types of shells and wide was used to create a beautiful floral pattern with tiny shell butterfly above the flowers. Has a black background of a black felt or black velvet type fabric. The piece is in its original shadow box frame. The frame is a gold wood. The interior looks white in the picture but is a cream color and is either a cream colored plastic or pattern cream colored wood. The cream color on the interior is a little dirty and dingy (don't know how that happened as it is under glass). The back has old discolored yellowed tape holding backing in place. Displays beautifully. There appears to be only one tiny shell loose under the glass. Measures just under 10" by 8" including the frame. Look at pics as they are part of the description.
