This thin elegant watch feels extremely light on the wrist & ran flawlessly for me (see below). Its features attract instant positive attention. With its secure watchband, light weight and water-resistant** design, "Every Day Carry" is certainly feasible. However, I have only worn this watch sparingly for business occasions. When I get a vintage working watch, it's worn nonstop for two+ days, at least three times over a several-month period.The prior owner of this watch had not worn it for at least 20 years. In 2023 I replaced the SR920 battery and test-wore it occasionally for business then put it away. Recently, I found it again reading only about 1 minute "fast"! Condition: Excellent. - Evidence only of light usage/wear for watch & band - Dial & Crystal show Excellent under a 5X loupe - Dial Lum is Excellent (see my photo) - Performance: Flawless in my possession. Sets Time/Day/Date Properly. - Band intact. To my limited knowledge Hamilton never made an 8-sided bezel watch. Several sellers list "Octagonal" bezel Hamiltons, but none are 8-sided. Most are 10-sided or 12-sided like this one.**Vintage watches should never be immersed in water, regardless of original manufacturing markings. Unseen case and seal fitting deterioration should always be assumed present!
