Description: Vintage Meissen Porcelain Green Indian Flowers Cup & Saucer- 1st Quality -MINT. For sale is a mocha or espresso coffee demitasse cup and saucer made by Meissen in the 20th century . Both pieces are hand painted with the green and gold Indian flowers ( Indianische Blumen ) design .The design covers almost the entire surface with a nice rim trim and a bit of gold to the nicely shaped edge. Even there is an extra flower to the bottom inside of the cup - a sure sign of quality! The handle of the cup is superb .The set is in perfect condition with no signs of wear at all. It is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark underneath. First class!! No slashes through the cross sword! The cup is 2 inches tall and 2.625 inches in diameter, 3.25 inches with handle. The saucer is 1 inch tall and has a diameter of 4.375 inches.
