Made by the Plasto Manufacturing Company, itnhas an off white plaste base and a teak stem. No chips, no cracks, no damage. It has a nice long cord allowing you to place it most anywhere. The lamp is 29 inches tall to the top of the final and weighs 8.5 pounds. With the right mid century style shade, this thing will be fabulous!
