Description: Brown, teal and grey MCM canister by Denis Vibert from his Pine Tree Kiln in Sullivan, Maine. Includes original teak lid. Interior is glossy light gray. Stands 3 3/4 inches tall and has an opening of 2 1/2 inches. In excellent condition with no scratches or repairs. This beautiful canister would be a superb addition to any mid-century modern studio pottery collection. Denis and Ruth Vibert’s Pine Tree Kiln contributed significantly and lastingly to the studio pottery movement in Maine. His works have been displayed in museums throughout the world and are in many private collections in the United States.
