Description: Vintage Matson Ormolu Casket Vanity BoxFresh from a Dallas Estate comes this vintage ornate Matson Ormolu gilt and beveled glass casket vanity box. The design of this casket vanity box is a square, gold ormolu box with rose details all over, including on the feet and hinged lid. The four sides and lid have brilliant gilt and beveled glass, the bottom is a red velvet covered tuft and on the inside of each leg is the signature of Matson. This piece measures 4 1/4" across by 4 5/8" deep and 3 3/4" tall, the inside measures approximately 2" deep. This vanity box is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips, cracks or scratches or any other major wear. There is only the lightest wear overall that is normal for the age of this piece and the red velvet tuft is no longer attached. Please review all photos for better condition details.
