Description: Vintage (Pre 1990) South American or Latin American Style Marionette Puppet. Female character with Sombrero, Rolling Pin and Colorful Blanket. Wearing a white dress with lace trimmed floral printed skirt. In original condition, is dusty from storage. Years ago we had family friends that traveled extensively and brought back trinkets from each place they were, many of the items were not marked as to where purchased and the stories long forgotten. This puppet is roughly 12" high not including the puppet strings. One puppet string has a knot midway but looks to be original. The blanket is a bit unraveled at the edges but it most likely was received that way as this was put in a box and pretty much forgotten not long after it was received. The doll looks to be made of fabric and the face, hands and lower legs/feet are painted and very shiny (hard to take a good clear photo due to glare), yarn hair. Will ship best way to you.
