Description: Vintage Lot 2 Brown Glazed Pottery Stoneware Cheese Storage Crocks Clamp Lids Two vintage brown-glazed cheese or storage crocks, circa 1970s. One is slightly taller than the other, and one has a bit darker glaze to my eye. Each has a matching lid, and the lids are secured by a wire clamping apparatus. Overall height: 5.75" x 5" x 4" and 5.5 " x 5" x 4" approximately. There are some small scuffs to the glaze visible in raking light. One lid has a drying crevasse on the underside. It's not damage, just the way the pottery body experiences shrinking as it dries. There's a spot of the pottery body visible on one lid knob where the glaze was either skipped or scuffed away. Together they weigh almost 3.5 pounds without packaging. I pack with care and ship promptly.
