Description: Nice vintage Lodge #12 Cast Iron Skillet Lid. I believe this lid was made to go with a 3 notch heat ring #12 Cast iron skillet, that was made after the 1950's with the smaller pour spouts. I've included several pictures of the measurements as well as measurements at the bottom of this description so you can ensure that the lid will fit your skillet. Please feel free to reach out with any questions regarding sizing. Made by the Lodge Manufacturing Company in South Pittsburg, Tennessee. CONDITION: Lid is in very good vintage condition. It practically sits flat on a granite counter top except for a subtle tic of wobble corrected by less than an index card. Lid has no cracks, chips, rust, or repairs. RESTORATION: This vintage piece of cast iron has been carefully cleaned to bare iron using a combination of electrolysis, lye, and vinegar. It has been seasoned with 3 layers of grape seed oil at 450 degree for a deep, beautiful, patina finish.
