Description: This tablecloth belonged to my grandmother and was hand embroidered and edged with crocheted lace by her best friend in the 1950’s. It is in excellent vintage condition with a few very tiny spots and one small stain (see last photo) that could carefully be bleached out. The linen is ivory/cream in color The embroidery is vibrant and the rose themed lace is heavy and hangs beautifully. Colors are a lavender purple, pink, green, light and dark blue. The fabric portion of the tablecloth is 48” x 67”. Lace is 6” deep all the way around. Total size is 54” x 73”. I have been the second owner since 1974 but no longer own a table that this piece works with. (Which is why the photos were taken on a full/double size bed.) It deserves to be used, so off it goes. Non-smoking home.
