Real leather (faux leather would have disintegrated in 20+ years). Seems unworn as shown by un-bobbled ribbed cuffs and hem. I think the jacket will improve with wear. The leather is already medium-soft - but will soften probably as it gains a worn patina. Stunning item for festivals - your friends will find you!
