Vintage Large Blenko - LE Smith Peacock Aqua Glass Pitcher Hand Blown Green Blue

Description: This beautiful vintage blown glass pitcher came from a local estate sale. It has no cracks, chips or hairlines. It is what I'd refer to as peacock blue. It is unmarked. It could be blenko or LE Smith. It stands 13.5" tall and over 7" wide and weighs 4 lbs standing alone. It has that poured look spout. The pitcher has a ribbed shape with a bulbous lower. It was hand blown. It had sat for a long time and was pretty dusty inside and out. I did wash it. It could probably use more. There are a couple of pin point bubbles in the handle and a couple elsewhere. There is a very small smooth mark near the top. This would have happened at the time it was made. There is a tiny dark spot about 3" from the base on the inside. It could be dirt or a flaw at blowing. It displays beautifully. Great for a collector, to use as a pitcher, to display flowers. It's simply lovely. I've tried very hard to describe everything I've seen. This is blown and they do have natural flaws.
