Description: Kelly Jo Kuchar studied art at the Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Tx. She has been creating hand-crafted pottery since 1994 in New Mexico where she creates ceramics that are sold all over the United States. They are made from lead-free non-toxic materials. I believe this dish is vintage from the 1990s due to the signature. It features a beautiful lavender plant against a sky-blue background and being visited by a colorful butterfly. The edges and back of the piece are painted in a deep lavender color. This dish would be perfect for holding jewelry, coins or other small items or it could be displayed prominently on a stand.
