This was a shelf kept item. It is 7" tall, signed Eagle A. Largo 1992 . Please note we are not Kachina experts and while we see similar Eagle dancers listed as Hopi, we cannot be sure of tribe. Eagle Dancer Kachina Doll: Represents Strength and power and can carry a persons dreams up to heaven. Kwahu, the Eagle Kachina is treated as an honored guest among the Hopi, who give them presents like they do their children. The specific history of a Kachina doll depends on the tribe using them. These dolls are not only used by the Hopis but also by the Aguna, Laguna Pueblos, and the Zuni. All of these tribes believe the Kachina to be their cultural heritage.Estate items are not new and aging and wear should be expected.
