Description: NOS - new Old Stock C.A. Zaic Co. Jetco Models PT-19 r/c plane kit. This is known as "Chuck Hollinger's Giant 1/6 Full Size R/C Superscale". The box itself has some damage to one end. I didn't go through every part- but the kit appears to be complete. I see the decals, the engine fairing, plans, diecut parts, landing gear (wheels not included),etc - see pictures. From the original advertising "Jetco's Fairchild PT-19 'R/C Kit of the Year' is the latest scale project by Chuck Hollinger - designer of the famous R/C Piper Cub J-3. Bill Dean, who developed the kit version of Chuck's J-3- is also responsible for Jeto's PT-19 kit. Flying surfaces are built flat on building board; both cowls are shape and hollowed; massive 11/64" diameter L.G. legs are bent to shape; the ecals sheets include 6- 1/2 " diameter 'star insignias' and 4- 3/4" high 'U.S. Army' Lettering. The three giant 35" x 45" plans include rudder, elevator, engine and steerable tailwheel control details. The low wing, lot C.G. and widespread wheels provide excellent take-off and landing characteristics, while the ample scale dihedral make it as easy to fly as the high wing J-3". " For multi, single channel r/c and free flight. Suitable for control line conversion. Wing span 72" length 55" Scale 2 inches to 1 foot. Wing area 820 sq ins. Weight 6 lbs. Takes .15-.35 displacement engines." The box measures about 37 x 11 x 4 inches.
