Description: Vintage Japanese Satsuma Bowl With Gold guilding 1960's Stork, Chrysanthemums. Beautiful Japanese bowl with a great combination of colors. Made for bamberger's department store that closed in the 1980s. This was a very fine piece sold exclusively in their chain. My research shows this is from the 1960s. Beautiful colors with burnt orange on the outside, Asian blue hatch pattern on the inside and wonderful chrysanthemums and a flying stork in the inter base all details have beautiful gilding. This fine piece is in wonderful used condition with no signs of the gilding fading or coming off. No chips or cracks. Please view photos as they are part of the description. It was difficult to take photos and show all of the wonderful highlights. The others I have found have a range of $60 through $450 for the same Bowl.
