Description: Vintage Kokeshi Lacquer Bowls, Set of 4. These bowls range from 3 to 5 inches in diameter and 1.5 to 2 inches high. Considering their age and prior use they are in good condition. On the side of the smallest bowl there is a brown discoloration and the tassel on its lid is frayed. One bowl has damage on the bottom of its inside (see photos). The lacquer has faded in some spots on the lids. There is a patent number on the bottom of one of the bowls of 21813. That is probably for the Kokeshi image.
