Description: Vintage J W Benson London Mechanical Manual Wind 17 Jewels Watch About the watch & condition: Here we have a nice vintage J.W Benson watch powered by a Laco manual wind movement. The watch runs well and when tested over 24 hours it was within around 30 seconds. It would benefit from some TLC including a new crystal and a nice leather strap. More details below: The dial on this watch looks great, it’s a stunning colour with lovely indexes. It’s got a patina as shown but overall I think it looks excellent! The crystal will need replacing as mentioned due to a crack near the 12 o’clock. The watch has a stunning stainless steel case with super looking lugs. There’s some signs of general wear with some light scratching and some wear on the underside but nothing you wouldn’t expect from a pre owned vintage watch. The is working just as it should with no issues This watch would look 10x better on a nice leather strap, I’d recommend swapping it straight away with something you like. Will be super easy and cheap to do. This watch is a mechanical watch, this means it needs to be wound for it to work. Please know this when buying! This is just for the watch, no box or paperwork.
