Description: Italian Carved Mirror Rococo Style Giltwood *BEAUTIFUL*. The giltwood has a mix of dark brown/dark bronze and gold finish please see photos. Part of the carved detail on the lower right is missing. Please see photos. I do not know if the frame is made from wood or gesso. At the place where part of the carved detail is gone, it looks like wood to me. I have had this mirror in my home for 40+ years and that part of the frame has always been missing. I wish I knew the age of this mirror, but I do not. We are moving in about 2 months, and if I locate this part of the frame, by chance, I will make note of it here. It is not very noticeable, probably because of where the missing part of the frame is on the piece. Very well detailed hand carved mirror. Stamped on the back Made in Italy.Approx. 44" H x 32”W x 2”D The mirror itself is approx. 20.5" wide, and approx. 31" tall.THIS WILL BE PICKUP ONLY OR BUYER CAN HIRE FREIGHT COMPANY TO PACKAGE AND SHIP AT BUYERS EXPENSE. I sold a large coffee table recently, and I brought it to the UPS store for the buyer and they packed it up and sent it to the buyer. If you wish to do this, it will be up to you to arrange all of this with a freight shipper who can pack it up. I do know that the UPS stores definitely do this. I will take the mirror to the shipper of your choice, but it will have to be close by to where I live. I cannot get freight quotes for interested buyers. I just don't have the time to do this.
