Description: Vintage carved bone material made by a Native Alaskan artist. Lightly scratched on back is signature Barr with artists symbol below, see last photo; I found reference to a native Alaska Iniaq artist Herbert Barr but cannot definitely attribute this to him. 2.25" long with hole drilled on top of head. Natural crack in bone on side may be very lightly chipped at top end of sharpest point. Billikins have been carved by Alaskan Natives since the early 1900s and are smiling creatures that are said to bring good luck.
