Description: Vintage Ingraham Guitar Wall Clock Mid Century Modern Abstract Refurbed from the 1950s (photographs were taken out of doors except for the last one, which was taken indoors) Modernist abstract design from Ingraham Clocks of Connecticut. Overall length is 27 inches top to bottom. Width of the "face" is 17 inches. The unique design of the distinctive and ORIGINAL brass clock hands echos the form of this clock's neck and head. I cleaned the clock thoroughly and polished the brass hands till they reflected beautifully. I also updated the non-working movement to a new, AA-battery powered top-of-the line TAKANE USA-made Quartz movement. The clock has been thoroughly tested and is in working order, keeps accurate time and runs quietly. The clock hands show some very slight wibble from absolute flat. There is wear commensurate from age to the object generally, with scuffs and abrasions here and there. I noticed a scratch in the wood on the clock face in the upper right quadrant.Hanging aperture is on the reverse of the guitar neck area near the top as shown in the reverse-side views. I hung it using a picture hook and Command loop. I photographed this clock out of doors on the shaded garage door (except for last photo)- accounts for the reflections in the metal Shipping details: I am experienced with more than 10 years of stabilizing and packing large vintage wall clocks for safe transit via UPS. This clock will ship stabilized within a large outer shipping carton at least 30 x 22 x 6 inches size.
