Description: This came from a computer store that closed down. Tested to power on with a ThinkPad 755CE attached. The ThinkPad shown in the photos is NOT included. It is there for illustration. Also, the dock ledge will not stay secured unless a computer is attached/docked. The CD-ROM drive was not exhaustively tested, but it is find by the Dock II SCSI controller at POST. Comes with a Toshiba SCSI CD-ROM drive installed. The Dock II has integrated speakers for ThinkPads with built-in sound cards, a SCSI adapter and provisions for an internal 5.25" HH SCSI drive (I believe based on the Adaptec 1520), two PCMCIA slots, 2 16 bit ISA slots, and the usual ports on the rear. This will work with a 701, but you need a special adapter, that I haven't personally seen in about 20 years. Due to the age of this docking station, it is still being sold AS-IS. Photos are of the actual item for sale. Remember, this is a vintage item that's over 30 years old. This could work a day and this could work a decade.
