Description: Tuareg mats are from the Sahara Desert and Mauritania and are handmade by nomadic Berber tribes. Each mat is handwoven with reed with intricate woven strands of goat and camel leather, used to form ancient symbols of the Tuareg people. Tuareg mats are made for some of the hottest weather in the world and are incredibly durable. The mat shows signs of wear and repairs commensurate with age (see photos).
