Description: Vintage, Handcrafted, Chinese Porcelain Trinket Box in Ming Blue and Red Designs. This is a piece of fine, vintage, multi colored, high temperature fired, Chinese porcelain. It measures 3 5/8 in. square at the top and 2 1/2 in. square at the bottom. The design also shows Gold painted accents in the blue areas. Identical designs are opposite each other on the box and on the lid. Chinese characters can be found under the lid and at the bottom of this remarkable handmade piece. There is some wear at the handle on top of the lid. Otherwise, it is in very good shape. This particular piece was owned by an elderly Japanese woman who gave it to us many years ago. It has been in our family for decades.
