Description: This is quite a rare "Granada" guitar that has seen better days, but I'm sure with a little bit of love and attention it could be brought back to its former glories. Granada, Spain has a rich history of folk, flamenco and classical music. Many people though are not aware that Granada also has a long history of fine guitar making and craftsmanship, and many of Spain's finest luthier's originate from there. However I was told that this guitar actually originates from Japan circa 1960s - inspired by the Spanish luthiers, the Japanese built their own "Granada". If you have further information or ideas about this guitar then do please message me and let me know. Either way, it has a rich tone and a deep resonance that reminds me of lazy afternoons, snoozing on a hammock as gentle guitar notes float on the breeze... CONDITION: As mentioned, this guitar has seen better days, the body is worn in parts and shows definite signs of age and ware. The body, fretboard and neck have scuffs & marks, and the veneer / varnish is cracked in parts. Examine all the pictures closely. Zoom in & out to get a good sense of it's exact condition: a picture tells a thousand words. In particular, the veneer / varnish has worn on the top right of the sound hole (see pic), and on the back edge (where the sides meet the back of the guitar) you will notice that some of the white inlaid edge is missing (see pic). The tuning keys are stiff but work fine. I imagine whoever ends up owning this guitar will probably want to set it up (unless it's being bought as a showpiece item). This guitar also comes with its old shell case. The case looks almost as cool as the guitar, but it too has seen better days. The case is okay to store this guitar but you certainly wouldn't want to be using it to regularly transport this guitar. The item photos serve as a document as to its condition.
