Description: This is a Vintage Gillette British RFB NEW Safety Razor made for the French Market. Razor Base Plate is marked BRITISH PAT. NUMBERS 352975’6-363892 and IMPORTE D'ANGLETERRE. Handle is marked BRIT. PATENT NOS. 352975'6-363892 on the smooth collar. This version has the three piece configuration with the hollow Ball End handle unique to the British razors. The top cap has a mirror shine with subtle swirls. The baseplate is superb with rock solid straight teeth. The no crack handle is excellent with its white diamond looking knurling. This classic and highly sought after British razor provides a BOMB shave. It has been cleaned and sanitized. The case is in excellent condition but it does come up just a hair short from closing. It never bothered me because I left it open for display. The set is completed with a silver tone blade bank containing two vintage Gillette Lame Francaise blades.
