There does seem to be a bit more resistance as it turns to open, but it's minor and may just be how it was made. The razor is an adjustable, double-sided safety razor made by Gillette in the USA. The I1 date code indicates it was made in 1963. They don't make these vintage Gillette razors like they used to, so don't miss out on this one!
