Reads "Auf's Wohl mit gefulltem Pokale" on the front meaning "To good health with filled cup". On the back it reads "Ob Rittersmann, ob Lanzenknecht, Ein jeder gern sein Schoppen stecht" meaning "Whether knight or soldier, each gladly downs his portion of beer".
