Description: Vintage FYR-FYTER Brass 1 Qt., Super Model "A" Fire Extinguisher. Manufactured by The Fyr-Fyter Co., Dayton, Ohio. Last patent is 2,175,120 (1939). I believe that these were used during WW II as it has a decal label and not a brass plate label.The extinguisher is made out of brass except for the top which is made out of copper. Extinguisher is in overall good condition but has its share of dents (see photos). The decal label is mostly complete with some small missing areas. Measures approx. 13" tall by 3" in diameter. It has been machine buffed, hand polished, and clear coated. The extinguisher is EMPTY and the pump handle does move in and out but it is being sold as a collectible/display item only. Unless my items are listed as New or MIB (Mint In Box/Bag) they are used, so expect there to be some wear and signs of usage.
