Description: Very nice old lighted register stand in excellent condition with its original carrying case. Extra nice brass tone plating also in excellent condition. It stands 49" to the top of the decorated light hood. This hood pivots to adjust the amount of light on the writing surface. Beneath this hood and shapely wood bracket is a cast metal plate reading "Friends Please Register". The natural tone writing surface measures 18" by 15". The supporting column consists of a smooth shaft leading to a long column of gold marbled bakelite held between to ornate castings. This stands on a large weighted base with raised floral design. The wiring is all good. This stand easily assembles and disassembles to fit in the carrying case. Great lectern. Please see all of the photos to determine the condition.
