The set includes the Holy Family, the Wise Men, a piping shepherd, a kneeling young shepherd, an ox and a sheep. The ox is flocked and the baby Jesus is plastic. The other pieces are chalkware and were made by Devineau, famous santon maker in Nantes, France, during the first half of the 20th century. These santons are in good condition with the exception of signs of age and wear on the surface, including a few small chips. They will add a charming atmosphere of Christmas in France to your home or be excellent additions to your collection.
