Description: VINTAGE Franciscan DESERT ROSE ~5 PIECE Place Setting~ U.S.A./England #7 This is a 5 PIECE place setting in the Franciscan "DESERT ROSE" pattern. Three were made in California, USA with the "CIRCLE" & "CRESCENT" back stamp from 1949-1960. The other two pieces were made in ENGLAND with the FRANCISCAN back stamp. ALL PIECES are in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or crazing. I have taken many pictures so you can see what a Great Set this one is. I have these dishes and use them everyday, I especially love the Rim Soup Bowls, they are a great size for everything! The set includes= 1 each- 10½" Dinner Plate, 1 each- 7¾" Salad Plate, 1 each- 8½" Rim Soup Bowl 1 each- Cup 1 each- Saucer. If you collect this Wonderful DESERT ROSE pattern, then this is a Great opportunity to complete your set! Great for the upcoming holidays also!!! Franciscan Desert Rose was produced in the US from 1941-1984, in England from 1985-2003, and in Portugal, China and Thailand since 2004.. There is a variance in color between these time periods.
