Description: Vintage Firsttone Violin made for American Conservatory of Music 4/4 Rare - READ This item is in used condition. There are signs of wear and discoloration throughout due to use and aging. This item was sent to a local luthier who addressed any issues with the item. This item was repaired to be in playable condition. He did not do any touch ups to the finish of the wood. I believe most of the hardware on the instrument is not original. The item will need to be tuned before use. The case is not original. This case is mainly for protection for shipping. The label inside the instrument reads, "Firsttone Violin made specially for American Conservatory of Music" I believe the size of this item is 4/4 as the length of the back measures approximately 14" This item does not come with a bow. Condition Issues:There is scratching/scuffing throughout the itemThere is discoloration/wear throughoutThere is finish/color that is worn off throughout the item (as shown in the photos)There were a few cracks throughout the item that were repaired. There are no more active cracks on the instrument There is glue residue throughout the itemThere are indentations/deep scratches throughout the itemThere are some pieces of wood that are broken off and missing on the edges of the violinThe top of the violin was taken off to repair the inside.
