The date of issue is September 12, 1970 issued from Charleston, SC with a 6 cent stamp. 3). 150th Anniversary Maine Statehood 1820-1970. The date of issue is July 9, 1970 issued from Portland, ME with a 6 cent stamps. 4). 150th Anniversary Alabama Statehood 1879 - 1969.
