Description: Vintage Fire King Jadite Jadeite 1/4 Pound Butter Dish with RIBBED Clear Glass Cover Lid: in Excellent Possibly Unused Condition! This auction features a hard to find jadite 1/4 pound butter dish from Fire King. Includes a jadite bottom and a ribbed clear glass cover or lid. Will make a wonderful addition to any Fire King, or vintage kitchenware collection, or a great start to a new collection. Perfect to display and use! Both pieces are in excellent vintage condition. Very shiny glossy surfaces. There are no chips, cracks, nicks, residue, significant utensil marks, staining, or dishwasher etching. The clear glass lid is without any cloudiness and there is no roughness to the edges. It really doesn't appear to have been used much. There may be a few straw, ash, or manufacturing marks here and there typical of wares of this type and vintage. These are not damage but simply an expected part of the inexpensive manufacturing process used to make these vintage wares. Please ask if you are not familiar with these marks. The jadite dish is marked on the bottom with the Oven Fire King Ware mark. Definitely an original vintage piece! Please enlarge and see the photos as they are an important part of the description.
