Although it is vintage, the sewing machine is in excellent condition with just a little age discoloration on the plastic parts, and a few small chips in the paint. The metal parts are all shiny, although the clasps on the cover have a little surface tarnish. Other than those few small things, the machine works and operates perfectly! It also comes with a custom bundle of accessories, such as the built-in foot pedal, functioning lamp (with replacement bulb), a huge assortment of replacement needles, two extra bobbins, two spools of thread, an unopened tube of vintage Singer brand lubricant, patterns for sewing dog and cat stuffed animals, two original tools (screwdriver and brush/pick), and a handmade pin cushion. Made in the United States, this Singer 237 sewing machine also includes the original carrying case/cover, which has some scuffs, scratches and stains, but no significant damage anywhere.
