Description: Here’s a compact billiard from Saga Pipes of Kolding, Denmark, one of many Danish makers of unknown provenance. About 5” long, bowl is 1 3/4” tall, 1 1/8” wide. ID 3/4”, depth 1 1/4”. Marked beneath shank SAGA PIPE/ KOLDING DENMARK. Capital JM stamped on side of bit. No other marks detected. Bit is well-seated push fit, no filter, cleaned and polished, showing no bite wear. Stummel is rich dark honey colored, outstanding cross grain, some handling wear, clean rim with some darkening, lightly caked bowl. What a lovely little billiard briar from a little known Danish master of pipecraft! Please examine photos and ask questions. I offer combined shipping discount.
