Description: Nice piece of early American pressed glass (not too early -- mid-century about). This 9 1/2 inch tall milk glass vase was made by E. O. Brody & Co in Cleveland, Ohio (as incised on the base). It is a hefty vase weighing almost 2 pounds. It is 4 5/8 inches across at the mouth and 4 inches across at the base. It features an organic, wrinkle, crinkle texture to the glass. The flowy inverted hourglass shape makes it difficult to clean at the very bottom, so there are a few bits of dirt still to be cleaned away. The vase is in excellent used vintage condition with no problems or defects to note. No cracks, no chips, and no crazing. ***See photos for details and relative size.
