Description: Early 1900's Fine See-Through Embroidered Cotton and Cotton Lace Dress. Probably Homemade using various pieces of fabric. The dress is asymmetrical in a wrap-around style that closes in the front with a 9" replacement zipper and hooks and eyes. See Photo#16. The only other replacement piece is a 7 1/2" square of fine cotton, above the zipper, to close the bodice. See Photo #15. Two 1/4"-1/2" holes were mended. One in the back was mended with diagonal pieces of lace over an inside patch. See Photos #9 and #10. The second hole was under the right arm. See Photos #8 and #14. A few pinholes were mended with iron-on circles. See Photo #17.
