Description: This antique biscuit/cracker jar was made by the Consolidated Lamp & Glass Co. in the 1890s. The clear jar (called Crystal in the 1895 catalog) was made in the Florette pattern. This design was later called Quilted Diamond and Bulging Petal. This jar is in very nice condition for its age. It has one small chip on the rim that does not show when the lid is on. SEE PHOTOS Consolidated made two lids for these jars. One was a coated silverplate and the other was a quilted lid to match the jar. This jar has the quilted lid, which makes it very hard to find. The approximate measurements are: 6 inches tall with the lid and 6.5 inches wide. This jar has a timeless appeal that will make it a great gift for any collector or lover of vintage glassware.
